The Kagawa International Festival is an annual event held at I-PAL Kagawa aiming to
cultivate a greater sense of multiculturalism within the prefecture by bringing local and foreign
residents together in a series of cultural exchange activities.
This also provides an opportunity for various international relations organizations from
within the prefecture to work with one another and strengthen their bonds.

This year marks the 23rd Kagawa International Festival. A special
lecture will be given by David Yano, a musician and founder of an NPO
facilitating self-reliance in Ghana. There will also be onstage
performances giving the audience the chance to experience
At the Exhibition, Exchange, and Retail Zone, various international
exchange and cooperation organizations in Kagawa will have display
booths and international goods for sale, and one can enjoy hearing about the experiences of
people who have volunteered overseas. There will also be food and drinks from around the
world available for purchase, the Forum on Multiculturalism, craft workshops and
foreign-language picture book reading by the Kagawa Prefectural Coordinators for
International Relations, and more.
