Courtesy Visit from Elberton High School (July 17th)
Six students at Elberton High School and a chaperone came to Kagawa on a short term homestay program, which began in 1985, and paid a courtesy visit to the Governor. This is the 24th reception of Elberton high school students.
First, the Governor made a welcome speech.

On behalf of Elberton group, Richard Campbell made a greeting speech.

The high school students then introduced themselves individually. Many of the students want to be doctors or professors in the future.

As a souvenir of the visit, the students were presented with fans (uchiwa) from Marugame.

A commemorative photo was taken at the end of the visit.
