Courtesy visit from the French ambassador to Japan (October 10th)

H.E. Mr. Philippe FAURE, the French ambassador to Japan, and his wife visited Kagawa prefecture for the first time as the official inspection tour after he assumed his position.

He paid a courtesy visit on the Governor after he paid a courtesy visit on the Mayor of Takamatsu City and dined with the representatives of the society of Japan and France in 4 prefectures in Shikoku.

    The Governor talked about the sister city treaty between Tours and Takamatsu, the academic exchange agreement between Kagawa University and Universite de Savoie, the exchange treaty between Kagawa Association of Corporate Executives, etc in his speech.

    The ambassador and his wife made the inspection tour to Ritsurin Park and Naoshima.
