The Ambassadors' Study Tour was held in Kagawa Prefecture(3)
They then proceeded to the Naoshima Elementary and Junior High Schools, where they interacted with the students. The teaching staff at the two schools have been working together to conduct English educational activities for developing the children's practical communication abilities.
The ambassadors returned once again by boat to Takamatsu, where they discussed the theme, "Kagawa's Traditional Culture and Modern Art:Possibilities for Unique Tourist Attractions."
Naoshima Elementary and Junior High Schools:
The ambassadors received a welcome message from the children.
They then handed over a special written message to the children of the schools.
The ambassadors then split into groups and interacted with the children in their classrooms.
After exchanging self introductions, they answered the students' questions about such things as the food and weather in their respective countries.
The Ambassadors' Talk at Sunport Takamatsu

At the Kagawa International Conference Hall, the ambassadors greeted Mr. Soichiro Fukutake, President of the Naoshima Fukutake Art Museum Foundation, and spoke with him about the further possibilities of the special tourism resources of Kagawa, where traditional culture and modern art coexist, as well as what to do to effectively broadcast the attraction of the prefecture abroad.
Each ambassador contributed with ideas, such as opening workshops and seminars for introducing Kagawa to the various embassies, or advertising for the prefecture through cooperation with travel agencies.
Finally, the ambassadors took a commemorative picture together.
