The ambassador of the Republic of Cuba visited Kagawa for a lecture on cross-cultural exchange and for exchange through baseball. He had a courtesy visit with the Governor.

He talked about good memories from the Ambassadors' Study Tour held last October, mentioning beautiful scenery, environmental measures, consciousness toward culture, and the warm reception he received in Kagawa.

A DVD entitled "The Secrets of Cuban Baseball" was presented by Counselor Ballester of the Cuban Embassy. All those present laughed when he joked, "Please don't show it to the rest of the players in Japan or to Matsuzaka Daisuke."
